Kiwanis Club donates more than $34,000 to GHC Trust Fund

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (Nov. 1, 2022) – With the goal of ensuring that access to quality local health care remains available in Sault Ste. Marie, the Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore, through its Foundation, has made an incredibly generous donation of $34,650.91 to the Group Health Centre Trust Fund. This financial contribution from Kiwanis will be used to purchase pediatric transducers, a crucial component used during ultrasounds.

With the goal of ensuring that access to quality local health care remains available in Sault Ste. Marie, the Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore, through its Foundation, has made an incredibly generous donation of $34,650.91 to the Group Health Centre Trust Fund. This financial contribution from Kiwanis will be used to purchase pediatric transducers, a crucial component used during ultrasounds.

Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore has been serving the children of Sault Ste. Marie and the world since August 23, 1961. The money raised through the Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore supports children and youth needs throughout our community.

Founded in 1979, the Group Health Centre Trust Fund is a registered non-profit organization meeting the fundraising needs of the Group Health Centre, its patients, and the surrounding community of Algoma.
