Phototherapy

GHC’s Phototherapy service offers an Ultraviolet (UV) booth, UVB PUVA booth, and the PUVA Hand and Foot unit — forms of artificial light used to treat psoriasis.

This service is unique to the GHC and Sault Ste. Marie. Prior to introducing our Phototherapy service, residents with this illness had to endure numerous weekly trips to Sudbury to receive this service, which usually takes seconds per treatment!
