Surgery

GHC’s Surgery Department serves medical/surgical and vascular patients who require secondary health care and who are in varying stages of the diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, or post-operative continuum of care.

A variety of procedures are conducted in this department, not requiring general anesthesia, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, bronchoscopy and other minor procedures.

Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses provide post-operative care, monitoring and support.

TYPES OF SERVICES OFFERED: 

Our professional team includes two gastroenterologists, an orthopedic surgeon as well as four general surgeons, one of whom specializes in vascular disease. They also provide consultation and follow-up care.
