The Algoma District Medical Group (ADMG), part of the Group Health Centre (GHC), is currently seeking long-term Family Medicine locums to join its team. ADMG operates within GHC, a progressive, multi-specialty, ambulatory care health facility that caters to the healthcare needs of over 60,000 residents in Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District. Our practices are well-established, and our patients receive exceptional care.
Position Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Family Medicine locums who are available to start immediately or in the near future. The locum positions offer long-term opportunities for physicians seeking to provide high-quality primary care services without the burden of on-call duties, hospital responsibilities, or after-hours work. Compensation for locums is set at $1,000 per 6-hour booked clinic. Additionally, locums who commit to a minimum of two weeks will receive reimbursement for travel, car rental, and accommodation expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate primary care services to patients
- Attend scheduled clinics and manage patient appointments efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Benefits and Compensation:
